About me
I have personally experienced the impact of blockages and liberation for many years. In 1998 I met my own bodywork teachers, and their lessons marked a turning point in my life. I delved deeply into the study and practice of various treatment methods, and for many years I immersed myself in the complex interaction of body, mind and breath. It was a true liberation to discover that words and thoughts do not always have to play the leading role. I learned to experience both relaxation and surrender as well as a powerful build-up of alert energy.
Based on pattern recognition as a trauma and integrative body therapist, I underwent traditional massage education in various styles, presented in a rational and investigative way. In doing so, I combined my knowledge of anatomy and body movement with modern insights and scientific research, and took into account other treatment methods.
This open and investigative attitude formed the basis for my long-term study, in which I meticulously analyzed and improved the different methods.
In addition to my training in traditional physiotherapy, I also followed the Vajrayan School and implemented a broader holistic vision.
I have always recognized the importance of the connection between massage and daily life. As a father of three daughters, I am all too aware of how we often run ourselves ragged and exhausted, ignoring the signals of our body and mind due to the many obligations that come our way. Much of the structural physical and mental stress that we experience on a daily basis is caused by the social and everyday stress that we find ourselves in. Therefore, it is of great importance to pay attention to the mutual relationship between physical and mental tension. At Metta Massage & Bodywork I do everything I can to break through this negative build-up. I want to build a bridge between consciousness and mindfulness in our body, and preventively strengthen the weak links in our musculoskeletal system.

Eveline

Philosophy

Metta, a name imbued with meaning, is synonymous with loving attention and the promise of mental stability, happiness and peace. In the world of Metta Massage & Bodywork I unite the art of touch with bodywork, meditation and psychology. Here awakens the primal human need to be touched, a deep desire that is interwoven with our being, with the essence of our body and its energy system.
A sublime massage reaches to the core of liberating movement, in which the body, afterward, can move freely without any tension. But my focus is not limited to the calm body; I also break through negative preferred postures, thought patterns and stuck body structures, woven by one-sided movements.
This helps to resolve and prevent the many physical and psychological ailments that beset us, such as the tormenting burden of headaches, the suffocating prison of fear, and the shadows of stress. Through Metta Massage & Bodywork, I offer you a helping hand to embrace a posture that is light, mobile, and open—a posture that brings you the release you long for.
